Reselling a ticket

Can't make it to an event? List your ticket on the resale market. NoReplay holds the buyer's payment safely until the transfer completes, so neither side gets burned.

How it works

  1. 1

    List

Open the ticket on My tickets and tap "Resell". Enter your asking price.
  2. 2

    Buyer pays securely

When someone buys your listing, their payment is held safely by NoReplay, not paid directly to you.
  3. 3

    Transfer

The ticket transfers to the buyer; their QR becomes valid, yours stops working.
  4. 4

    You get paid

Funds release to your wallet (minus the platform fee). Cash out via your usual payout method.

Price cap

Most events cap resale at 150% of the original price to prevent scalping. The cap is set per event by the organizer; you'll see it on the resell modal. Listing above the cap isn't possible.

πŸ’° Money implications

NoReplay charges the same platform fee on resales as on primary sales (default 10%, but varies per event). If you list at KES 1,500 and it sells, you receive 1,350 to your wallet; NoReplay keeps 150.

If your listing doesn't sell

  • You keep the original ticket and can still attend.
  • You can also withdraw the listing at any time.
  • Listings expire automatically 24 hours before the event starts (so an unsold ticket doesn't surprise-leave you with no listing and no plan).

Refund vs resale: which?

If the event is still in the full-refund period, refunding is simpler β€” instant wallet credit, no waiting for a buyer. Resale makes sense once you're past the partial-refund cutoff, since selling at face value beats taking 50% back.
