If an event is cancelled or postponed
When an organizer cancels, every ticket holder gets an automatic full refund — no action needed. Postponements work differently.
Cancelled events
When the organizer marks the event cancelled in NoReplay:
- Every paid ticket flips to refunded automatically.
- Wallet credits land within minutes. Provider reversals (M-Pesa, card) follow the usual timeline — see Refund timing by payment method.
- You receive an email with the cancellation reason and a refund confirmation.
- The platform fee is refunded too. You get exactly what you paid.
Postponed events
When an event is postponed to a new date:
- Your existing ticket transfers to the new date by default. Same QR, same seat tier.
- If you can't make the new date, request a refund within 7 days of the postponement announcement. Refund is at face value (no partial cutoff penalty).
- You get an email explaining the new date and the refund window.
💰 Money implications
Cancellation = automatic full refund. You don't have to chase anything. If you don't see the wallet credit within 24 hours of the cancellation email, contact support with your order ID.
