Refund timing by payment method
Where your refund lands depends on how you paid. We always credit your NoReplay wallet immediately so you have spendable funds; provider-level reversals follow on their own schedule.
Wallet credit (always immediate)
When a refund is approved, your NoReplay wallet is credited within seconds. You can spend it on another ticket on the platform straight away or cash it out via your usual payout method.
By original payment method
- M-Pesa (B2C reversal): 1–3 business days for the money to land back on your M-Pesa wallet. We initiate the reversal as soon as the refund is approved.
- Card (Peach): 5–14 business days, depending on your card issuer. Faster for South African banks, slower for international issuers.
- NoReplay wallet: instant — already in your wallet.
- Group wallet: instant — back in the group's pool.
- BNPL: depends on whether you've already paid all instalments. Talk to support — these need a manual review.
💰 Money implications
Why two timelines? Wallet credit is what NoReplay controls — instant. The reversal back to your card or M-Pesa goes through your bank or Safaricom, which we can't speed up. Most users prefer to spend the wallet credit and skip the wait.
What if the provider reversal fails?
The wallet credit always succeeds, so you're never out of pocket. If a card refund bounces, support follows up with you to figure out where the money should land.
