Group tickets
Going as a crew? Create a group, add a shared wallet, everyone tops it up, and one person buys the tickets out of the pool.
Steps
- 1
Create a group
Open Groups in the app, name your crew, invite friends by phone or username. - 2
Top up the group wallet
Each member can contribute. The wallet shows the running balance and who chipped in what. - 3
Buy
Whoever's buying picks "Group wallet" as the payment method on checkout. The cost comes out of the shared pool. - 4
Distribute
Tickets go to the buyer's account by default. They can transfer individual tickets to other members in one tap.
π° Money implications
Group wallets behave like a personal wallet for fee/refund purposes. Refunds go back to the wallet, not to individual contributors β let the wallet pay out at the end if you need to settle up.
Common gotchas
- One member runs off with the wallet: members can withdraw their own contributions back to their personal wallet at any time. Top-ups they made specifically for the group don't get auto-locked, so set up the group with people you trust or pay-as-you-go.
- Dispute over who gets which ticket: tickets default to the buyer. Use the transfer flow to move them; once transferred, the recipient owns it.
