How the rotating QR works
Your ticket's QR code refreshes every minute. The QR you screenshot at 7:42pm doesn't work at 7:43pm. This is intentional, and it's what protects you from being defrauded.
Why we rotate
A static QR (like a printed PDF) can be photographed, copied, and re-used. Anyone with your screenshot could walk in instead of you. NoReplay's QR is a one-minute token signed by your ticket — it expires the moment the next minute starts, so a screenshot is dead on arrival.
What this means at the door
- Open the app at the gate. Don't pre-load the QR ten minutes in advance.
- If you're worried about phone battery, top up before you leave. The door scanner needs you to display a live QR.
- Forgot your phone? Most door teams can look you up by ID. Contact the organizer's check-in desk before you panic.
Anti-fraud detail
Each scan is recorded. If the same ticket is presented twice, the second scan fails loudly and the first holder gets a notification. This means a stolen QR is detectable within seconds.
